Pauline Anne Wallace passed away on October 28, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, to Ernest and Lillian (nee Manor) Prosser, Pauline arrived on October 15, 1926. Pauline grew up in a military family, as her father served as an officer in the Air Force. While they were stationed in San Antonio, Texas Pauline worked in a restaurant, and that is where she met the love of her life, Stanley. Stanley was also in the Air Force, where he proudly served for 21 years. Together they spent 65 wonderful years. Pauline had a heart of gold, it showed in all she did. She was a caring matriarch for her family, very loving and compassionate. Giving back to her community, Pauline was proud to be a Red Cross volunteer for over 15 years. She was a great bowler, so much so that she was inducted into the Illinois Bowlers Hall of Fame. She also showed an artistic side, enjoying activities such as pottery, ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Whatever she did, she exceled at. This went for her cooking as well. She made the best spaghetti and meat sauce! Pauline was a best friend to her children. She was so beautiful inside and out. Her gentle soul shined bright to all who met her. To know her was to love her. She is survived by her adoring husband, Stanley, children William Wallace, and JoAnn (David) White, and grandchildren Michael White, Tasha White, Douglas White, Rachel White, and Jessica White, a brother Francis Prosser and a sister Phyllis Emond. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ernest Prosser Jr., and Edward Prosser, sister Doris Zabek, step-dad Harry Symonds, and step-brother Marty Symonds. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 6747 East Broadway Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422.
