Kev, it's Ray Newman.  Sorry to hear about your Mom.  Do we need to act better now that she knows exactly what we're doing and thinking?  Not good.  Sorry I didn't send something earlier but I knew you had your hands full and weren't feeling the best, so you know me - procrastinate and don't over act.  Remember when Paul crashed through that window?  How about the time you caught the Brunette sister on the trail?  Oh yea.  I lost Pops in 2002 so I know what you're going through.  Mom's still hanging (partying) in there at 90.  Problem is she's acting like me when I was in high school.  Now I know why they wanted me to move out. Nana, not a day has gone by where I haven't thought about you and how much I miss you.  I wish that I could drive over and watch HGTV or What Not to Wear with you.  I'm so very grateful for your love and the stories you enjoyed reading and telling us when we were little. Dear sister you will be sorely missed but not forgotten.  So many good memories growing up together.  Will never forget the time you dumped a fresh baked peach pie on the dining room floor.  After the initial shock we all a good laugh and what was left of the pie was good.

Your Mom was such a huge part of my life growing up. She was like a 2nd mom to me from 4th grade on thru high school. And Kathie & I gave her both the fun days and tough nights! I seem to recall several phone calls between Phyllis and my mother that started with "Oh dear!". We had so much fun up at Lake Huron in the summers, and she treated me like family, always had a hug for me. She was a cool lady, and will be very much missed, but always remembered.

I knew her son Rob as we both worked for General Motors at the Desert Proving Grounds in Mesa together for many years.Although I did not know your mother that well I am sure this is a difficult time and I wish all of you the strength to get through your loss.

Sorry for your loss.  Your mother was such a delightful, caring and lovely lady. She will always be in our prayers and thoughts. She will be missed.

I sold your mother a Twin Home at Sunland Springs Village a few years back & can't tell you what a pleasure it was to know her thru the process.  She was a beautiful lady inside and out.  May she rest in peace.
