Ralph was born on December 24, 1938 in Blue Island, Illinois to Waldemar Clodfelter and Kristina (Brzezinski). He has now been set free from the pain he had endured and is flying high with his loved ones that passed before him.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of 53 years, 4 children: Wayne Watson (Judy), Tom Watson, Kathy Dickinson (Daniel), Robin Holmes as well as one sister, Carol Marie Mashin of Neillsville, Wisconsin, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Donald.
Upon graduating from high school Ralph joined the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. After retiring he and Bonnie lived in Warroad Minnesota, Ripley, Tennessee and finally Chandler, Arizona. During his lifetime, Ralph owned and operated several businesses including a cargo hauler, a taxi company and a laundromat.
Ralph loved people and people loved him. He had a quirky sense of humor that could make anyone smile. He loved his family and spent all of his spare time with them. Ralph was the king of big breakfasts and ‘Papas ribs’. His peanut brittle, cinnamon candy and sausage balls were hits of the holiday season. He will be missed by so many.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Ralphs memory.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.LakeshoreMort.com for the Clodfelter family.
