Raymond Daniel Rita passed away on February 22, 2012, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Michael and Dominica (nee Rondenella) Rita, Raymond arrived on August 22, 1930. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was proud of his work for the Rock Island Railroad as a Diesel Foreman. He met and married the love of his life, Rose, and together spent a wonderful 61 years. Chippy, Raymond’s dog, was a faithful friend that held a special place in his heart. Raymond is survived by his wife Rose, children Michael Rita, Kathleen Wisinski, David Rita, Raymond Rita, and Florentina Rita, grandchildren Michael Rita, Christopher Rita, Melissa Freehan, Justin Rita, Taylor Rita, Gina Raymond, Scott Wisinski, Collin Rita, and Vince Rita, great grandchildren Bryson Freehan, Aiden Freehan, Brady Rita, Ethan Rita, and Adriana Raymond. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care 400 South Power Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422.
