I loved Rick dearly as my brother-in-law.  I can't think of anyone who was kinder, gentler or who had such a great sense of humor.  I didn't know he died or that he didn't get well after all.  I will really miss him.  I will see you in Heaven and we'll have a great time my brother.  I am in deep sorrow now, but I'll be happy to see him soon.

Sue and Missy, some way some how, I missed Rick’s home going. I’m so very sorry for the tremendous loss to you both. Rick was such a good friend. We both loved the Lord, had similar taste in foods, loved to hunt, loved to laugh, but Rick was a little goofier than me! What a time we will all have in heaven! You guys made Silver City a wonderful place to worship and serve the Lord.

3 way Volleyball on Dean St.....that was our first experience with Rick and Sue . They were Always laughing!.....it was a priviledge to live so close..driving by or walking by the Davis Woodworking sign many times daily...took a pic with our dog at the sign when it was about to come down...lived in a home where his beautiful handiwork was a showpiece
But the best part was knowing we had a brother and sister in Christ just a jump away....you will always be missed.

Ricky will surely be missed! He had a heart of gold for helping anyone in need!
Ricky and I has a lots of history with  great memories  growing up with TONS of story's of our long journey together! 
As a matter of fact in my window sill  I still have his Business Card he had dropped off when I was down on Cape Cod just days before Ricky's New Life Journey  with his Family's  AZ Adventures  departure!

After a visit to Rick's church I had a chance meeting and handshake at honey dew with a man that would become one of my dearest friends over the next 40 yrs.  Rick's laughter would light up a room .Our family vacations together will always be one of lifes unforgetable  Joy's. Rick's wisdom and christian service and his willingness to serve his fellow man is evidence of his love for his Savoir . He will be missed by not just his family and peers but generations of children he taught in his Sunday school classes . Gods speed dear friend until we meet again.

I was a 21 year old college grad when I first met Rick at New Testament. I quickly learned he was a man of deep and strong convictions blended with compassion and generosity emanating  from his personal faith in Christ.  He and Sue were gracious landlords and neighbors to our young, growing family. As seriously committed as he was to his CHRISTIAN mission, he never took himself too seriously. Rick, it’s been a longtime, but I thank God for the promise that we will see you again based on the promise of our shared faith in Jesus. 

I have great memories of Rick building the addition on our house. He always had a smile! Love and prayers for his family. 

I remember Rick clearly from when he was in high school and I was like 6 and would follow him around when visiting uncle Carlton and Aunt Alberta. I also remember drinking Aunt Alberta's homemade rootbeer hie sitting on the steps with him.

Rick was a good guy.  We hadn't seen him in a long time, but have many good memories of our much younger days with him.  Our deepest sympathies to all his family.
