My prayers and condolences go to Bob's family. May your hearts soar now that  he has begun his eternal journey with God  and may you find comfort from your grief in that fact.

My name is Daniel Derryberry and I met Bob through work. I was working for a plumbing contractor and Bob wasn't quite comfortable with plumbing. So he called the company I was working for and got me. We hit it off right from the start. I could tell he was a wonderful person. Loved his family and his life. He always made me laugh when I came over to help him out with the latest plumbing nightmare. His fierce passion for everything he did made him who he was and for that I will miss him most. God bless you my friend and rest in peace.

I grew up with the Ahrendt family in Imperial Beach and we all attended Nestor United Methodist Church together.  I am very sorry to hear of his passing - my condolences to the entire family.  Hattie (Watkins) Hedrick

Melissa, So very sorry to read of your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this most difficult time. May the Lord be with all of you and you are in my prayers.

I feel blessed to have known him.  He made me laugh and he made me think, he tought me how to be better at my job and better at being a friend.  I had the privelage of watching his children grow into great young adults and he forever influenced my son with his personality and wizdom.  I will truly miss my friend until I get to see him again.

Bob set the bar high. For himself and for his two beautiful and precious daughters. You knew where he stood, and yet he was always looking to improve himself in any ways he found that he might grow to be a better man. A better husband, father, son, neighbor and friend. He used the scriptures as his guide.
    He will always stand tall in my eyes. He made it easy each year to send my Happy Fathers Day Brother in Law cards. I knew he was taking care of my sweet sister and dear nieces.I will miss Bob, and keep his memory close
