Bob was born December 27, 1938, the son of Edward E. (Sr.) King and Ethel E. (Harris) Colbert. He married the love of his life, Donna L. Latch on January 30, 1960. He lived in Oreana, IL and worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company until his retirement. He spent the past 26 years in Mesa, AZ surrounded by his cherished friends and fellow mountain-trail ATV enthusiasts.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Steve King of Windsor, IL, sister Gloria Beabout of Mattoon, IL, and sister Nancy (Bill) Miller of Sullivan, IL. He is survived by his brother Edward (Teri) King (Jr.) of Windsor, IL, sister Deborah (Steve) Bland of Clinton, IL, and three children: Kimberly (Randy) Grant of Mt Zion, IL, Jeffrey King of Phoenix, AZ, and Amy King of Argenta, IL. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Lindsey Grant, Rachel (Michael) Tejeda, Steven (Lindsey) Kirk, Scott Kirk, Sara Kirk and six great-grandchildren: Tatum, Savannah, Sora, Cameron, Naomi and Scarlet.
A Service will be held Friday, March 4th, 2:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 400 S. Power Rd, Mesa, Arizona, 85206.
