He was born on March 8th 1948 to Daniel and Laura Sassano. In 1971, he married Ellen Macaulay. Robert worked as a banker in Connecticut, and was a financial analyst when he moved to Arizona in 1992. He held a MA in History from University of CT, and a MBA from Western international University. Robert loved to travel, garden, bird watch, cook and read. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Abigail Sassano, Melanie Sassano and his son-in-law Steven Bear.
