My Dearest Poppo,
I feel the luckiest of all to have spent the majority of my life with you. I cannot walk around my house without seeing some sort of project that we worked on together. You have been one of the most influentiual people in my life, and I thank you for helping me become the man that I am today. We have shared many memorable times together. Sitting here writing this, it is hard to hold back the tears, for I will miss you. You have always been my "Best Friend." I will always love you now and forever. Your Grandson Bobby John

My Dearest Poppo,
I feel the luckiest of all to have had such a close relationship with you. We always had a special bond together. From the time I was a little boy we were the "Best of Friends." Sitting here writing this, holding back the tears is really hard since I have so many fond memories of you that it is hard to share just one. You were one of the most influential people in my life. You helped make me the man that I am today. I thank you for loving me unconditionally. Even when I drove the tractor into your flower garden as a little boy, and I was sure that you were going to kill me, you didn't you just said that we could fix it together, and we did. I can't even look around my house without seeing some project that we did together. I will miss you now and always. You were the best friend that anyone could ask for. I thank you for that. Bob you were only in our lives for a short time, but oh how you made that time memorable.We truly wish that we could of had years with you. Your heart had so much love in it that it just spilled out on everyone around you, especially us. I know you will be there to welcome us home with your big smile and laugh. God truly blessed us when he brought you and Gracie into our lives. We are holding Gracie close to us so do not worry. Uncle Bob touched many lives.  I'm reading what my mom wrote and what others wrote and it touches my heart.  Aunt Grace, please take comfort in knowing that he is in a wonderful place now.  My thoughts are with you....you have my love.  Shelia Kuhn (Darlene's daughter)

We are sure you are "lighting up" the faces of everyone in Heaven with your wonderful sense of humor.  Save each of us one of those "$100 seats" up there just like you did when we attended Hosanna together.  You will be missed, Bob, and until we meet again..God Bless you and give you His peace.  

Old Friends,

We don''t always understand our Lord's timing, but we can trust that all He does or allows is for our good. And this year Bob got to spend his birthday with His Lord! While I mourn with Gracie at his loss, I am SO happy that our Lord has freed Bob from the struggles of this life. He is free from pain forever! And, as St Paul said, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. We KNOW we will see Bob again. Just imagine the reunion that will be! Bob will be waiting there with all our loved ones who have gone before.

Always felt welcome in your home, Uncle Bob.  I never was bored from childhood on, listening to your stories.  You could make going to the store sound like an adventure.  even in the middle of the night when you rolled in after driving straight thru for 28 hours from Calif. i would jump up wide awake and listened to every word. Especially enjoyed when most all of the Thiele clan would get together.  thanks for the memories and the love...your nephew.. Allen

You will always be in my memories, Uncle Bob.  You were there to tighten my skates when I was a little girl.  You were the one who talked my Dad into letting me use the car one night, when I was a teenager and you were there when I needed you later on in my life.  So you will always be part of my memories and you will always have my Love as I had yours.

I love you Uncle Bob and I enjoyed every time we talked on the telephone. We enjoyed our visits when we came to see you and Aunt Grace and Mr T.  We never got tired of listening to you and your brothers tell your stories when you came to Okla for a visit when we were kids.  You will be missed. As LeRoy, Billy and my Mom do not have a computer, this is from all of us. All our love, Carolyn Miller.
