Robert Donald Walls

Robert Donald “Bob” Walls, of Mesa, Arizona passed away, May 4, 2019 at the age of 84. He was born June 14, 1934 in White Lake, Michigan to Stuart and Jessie [Matthews] Walls. Bob attended Milford High School, graduating in 1952. Following high school, he was married to Marlene J. Willis, on October 10, 1953 in Highland, Michigan.

Throughout his life he worked very hard and enjoyed keeping busy; he worked as a pipefitter with Parks Installation and also as a Farrier, shoeing horses; Bob loved horses and enjoyed trail riding with his friends every chance he could.

Bob and Marlene spent the last 18 years of their lives together traveling the 50 states and Canada in their motorhome and would make a point to visit family in Michigan every fall. After Marlene passed away on January 20, 2014, Bob spent much of his time with his family in Michigan and Washington.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Conrey (Tony), Debbi Carriger (Gary), and Kim Minton (David); grandchildren, Zach Carriger, Ethan Carriger, Jacob Carriger, Laura Carriger, Julianna Carriger, Matt Minton, Will Carriger, Andrew Minton, and Emma Carriger and his sisters, Donna Pennell and Virginia “Ginny” (Earl) Swett. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Walls, his beloved wife, Marlene Walls as well as his siblings, Elwyn, Wilma, Ruth and Barbara.
