Roberta Jean Davis

Roberta Jean Davis, 56, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away on February 22, 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona. Born in Greensburg, Indiana to Francis and Emily Christian, Roberta arrived on January 3, 1957.

Roberta married William E. Davis Jr. on February 27, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky. Together they had two children; a son, Daniel and a daughter, Melissa. She found pleasure in crafting, cooking, and hosting parties. As a couple, Roberta and Bill liked to go camping and on vacations. They went somewhere new each year. Roberta was passionate about horseback riding. She rode in many parades and entered various competitions. Roberta enjoyed riding quads in the desert.

Roberta is survived by her husband, Bill Davis; son, Dan Davis; daughter, Melissa Sorenson; daughter in law; Brandy Davis; son in law, Danny Sorenson; grandsons, Cody Sorenson, Preston Sorenson, Daniel Davis,Ian Davis, and Kyler Caldwell; mother, Emily Christian; and sister, Becky Ernstes. She is preceded in death by her father, Francis Christian.

A memorial service for Roberta will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206.
