Roger Larry Keiser

Roger Larry Keiser born May 17, 1943 passed away on September 14th, 2023. Larry was larger than life, his energy and passion was contagious, and he was well loved by everyone who knew him. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI, to Letha B and Frank Keiser. He grew up in the small town of Lowell, MI, where his father started Keiser’s Kitchen, a restaurant that his father eventually passed to him. Keiser’s Kitchen is still serving the community in Lowell and continues to be run by the Keiser family. Larry moved out west to Sedona in 1979 with his then wife Sher. Later Larry met and married Judy Keller and together they owned Judy’s Restaurant and Lounge, Keiser’s West and Mr. Judi’s, formerly the Ronda Vue. Larry was a successful restaurateur, a respected businessman and friend to many in Sedona.

Larry retired to Southern Arizona where he spent his final days with his beloved partner Barb Marquette and the best bird ever, Paulie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Darlene, his brother Don, the Mother of his children Kay, his second wife Sher, his wife Judy Keiser and his stepdaughter Marci Herndon.

He is survived by his loving partner Barb, his three children, Roger Larry Keiser Jr, Robert Keiser, and Kelly Keiser Mott and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
