He was born on May 4, 1958 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Vito and Olive Stassi, the youngest of 3 children. Ron was raised in Calgary, where he completed his grade 12. He then attended the SAIT, where he learned the skills to be a heavy duty mechanic, and became the fleet manager for the Coca Cola Company, eventually being transferred to Arizona where he resided for the last 11 years. Ron worked for Coca Cola for 35 years. He met Valerie May Lyle in grade 7, and they were married in 1978. He enjoyed motor biking, boating, and water skiing. He could fix anything, loved tinkering, old cars and especially spending time with his family and having family vacations at the lake. Ron was a good husband, father, friend and worker dedicated to his family and career.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Valerie May Stassi; sons Douglas Vito Stassi , Jason David Stassi and his beautiful granddaughter Olivia Hailey Stassi; brother Ray Stassi and sister Maria Gissing and numerous family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens on December 12, 2015 @ 2 PM
