Ronald Eugene Williams Sr.

Ron was born in Hammond, IN to Delmar and Madge Williams. He passed away on October 1, 2022, while in the care of Hospice of the Valley at the Lund Home in Gilbert, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Donna and Connie and his niece Kim. Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Judith and his sons Ron,Jr. (Alison) and Tim and daughter Stacie, who was his primary caregiver since his diagnosis of Mesothelioma two years ago. Survivors also include his sister Carole (John), 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and 3 nieces. He also leaves behind his furry grand-doggies, Wrigley and Roxy, who will miss getting bellyrubs from Gramps.

Ron graduated from Hammond Technical Vocational High School, where he was voted "the best-looking guy" in the senior class. As an Army Veteran, he was able to further his education with the help of the G.I.Bill. Ron earned a B.S. in Business with a major in accounting from Indiana University. As a CPA he had a successful career as an Auditor with a major accounting firm in Chicago and later as a corporate controller. After retiring from the financial business world, Ron was the proud owner of Aurelio's Pizza Restaurant in Valparaiso, IN for 10 years. He then retired and relocated to Mesa, AZ where he enjoyed golfing, riding his bike, and watching sports on TV. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears and Indiana University Basketball.

Per his request, there were no services. Arrangements were provided by Mariposa Gardens and Memorial Park.
