It's almost been a year.........not a day goes by that I don't think about you and love you more my Sissy.

Today is the day of my sisters memorial. I cant be there but I will remember my sister with affection and love. May there be a joyful reunion in the afterlife.

In the short time we knew Roseana my daughter and I cherished the times we were with her whether it was playing games or having dinner she would always have possitive things to say. She was an inspiration of hope. We miss her but will never forget her. Shalom my friend

My Sister was Love, she was my guiding light in my times of darkness.
I was hungry and she gave me food. 
I was thirsty and she gave me a drink. 
I was lonely and she made me welcome. 
I was naked and she clothed me. 
I was ill and she came and looked after me. 
If I was in prison surely she would have came to see me.
When I was homeless and alone living out of the back of my van 
in Seattle; she called me every night on my cell phone and gave me 
the will to move forward in my life.

Roseana lived her life by 1 Corinthians 13: 

Im sure that God has welcomed her with open arms into his Kingdom.
I will remeber and cherish her in my heart for as long as I live.

Christian love—the highest and best gift

13 1-3 If I speak with the eloquence of men and of angels, but have no love, I become no more than blaring brass or crashing cymbal. If I have the gift of foretelling the future and hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but the very secrets of God, and if I also have that absolute faith which can move mountains, but have no love, I amount to nothing at all. If I dispose of all that I possess, yes, even if I give my own body to be burned, but have no love, I achieve precisely nothing.

4 This love of which I speak is slow to lose patience—it looks for a way of being constructive. It is not possessive: it is neither anxious to impress nor does it cherish inflated ideas of its own importance.

5-6 Love has good manners and does not pursue selfish advantage. It is not touchy. It does not keep account of evil or gloat over the wickedness of other people. On the contrary, it is glad with all good men when truth prevails.

7-8a Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact, the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen.
All gifts except love will be superseded one day

8b-10 For if there are prophecies they will be fulfilled and done with, if there are “tongues” the need for them will disappear, if there is knowledge it will be swallowed up in truth. For our knowledge is always incomplete and our prophecy is always incomplete, and when the complete comes, that is the end of the incomplete.

11 When I was a little child I talked and felt and thought like a little child. Now that I am a man my childish speech and feeling and thought have no further significance for me.

12 At present we are men looking at puzzling reflections in a mirror. The time will come when we shall see reality whole and face to face! At present all I know is a little fraction of the truth, but the time will come when I shall know it as fully as God now knows me!

13 In this life we have three great lasting qualities—faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love.

Roseana was my best friend for over 40 years. She became an active memeber of my entire family's life. I loved her sense of humor,her quick smile,her unconditional love, and her committment to our friendship. I truly respected her efforts at being the best Mom she could be. I miss being able to pick up the phone and taking to her almost each day. Go in peace my dear friend.

Go with God Roseana. I will always remember the good times we had together and miss all the little things you did to make my life better.

I met Roseana at divorce recovery and instantly began a sweet friendship since 2005. If it wasnt for her persistence in attending a singles dance I would never have met my future husband. Gonna miss you kiddo.

I was glad to know Roseanna at St. Mark's church.  She was a special lady.  We will miss her.  I was impressed how she continued to live even with her health challenges.

I met Roseana at my work 21 years ago, I asked if she knew a good baby sitter. Thats all it took instant friendship with unconditional love.She took great care of my 4 children and last year she took care of my grandson. We laught and cried on life and family issuse as we talked for hours.She loved kids and everyone. Once you met her you wanted to be her friend. She saw good in everyone, great teacher in life of all things, could sew like crazy, loved to make jewerly, great cook. I miss my bestfriend terribly but shes PAIN FREE and thats what matters. She sends her love to all.

My sister was my lifelong friend and confidante. We maintained a relationship that lasted 58 years. It lasted through a disruptive childhood, marriages, children and illness - all the good times and all of the bad times. We shared our lives and we loved each other and spoke  to each other almost every day until the evening before she died.
My sister was the keeper of our memories, she was the oldest and saw things differently from me and I will miss her. She was the only other person who knew us, as we were as children, the only person who shared those memories. We were a witness to one another.
God is the ultimate Keeper and he knows and keeps all of the things that she and I shared.
"here is the deepest secret nobody knows/here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud/and the sky of the sky of a tree called life/which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide/and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart/i carry you in my heart."
