Rudolph Robert Sladek

The passing of this this kind and gentle man, Rudolph "Rudy" Sladek, on February 21, 2019. He leaves behind a legacy of smiles, a soft voice, funny humor, and a gentle touch. His going home was peaceful as the angels carried him to heaven. He attended church most of his life and read through the Bible many times.

Rudy worked several years for General Motors. His occupation was a die room machinist and this is where he met his wife, Marlene. He was preceded in death by sister Leona Eister and sister-in-law LaJean Harris.

He was the son of Rudolph Sladek and Grace (Cates). With a long life of 82 years, he leaves behind to celebrate his life: his wife of 37 years, Marlene Kerry, daughter Sheryl Dartez(Toby), son Rudolph (Rob) Sladek II (Deb). He treated his step daughters, Jolene Meszko, Marlene Renae Greer, and Stacy Zamora (Leon), as his own children. Also, celebrating Rudy's life are sister-in-law JoAnn Dickerson and special nieces Charm Healy, Mari Eister and nephew Gerry Eister. Lynn Niziol was a good friend to Rudy and contributed to many delicious food dishes that cheered him. Rudy's life was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was uncle to several nieces and nephews. The family thanks THEMA for the good and kind care they gave to Rudy. He had a great team taking care of him. The family and friends of Rudy will miss him deeply.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Family of Faith Bible Church 609 Grand Drive, Apache Junction, Arizona 85120
