

Sandra Ann Shaw was born on June 6,1946 in River Rouge, Michigan to the union of Annie Ruth and Earnest Shaw. Sandra attended and graduated River Rouge High School. Her hobbies were music, cake decorating, salesmanship and art. Her friends called her “Applejaws” because of her brilliant smile and cheeks. At 16 years of age, she became a debutante of the Gamma Phi Delta Sorority. Sandra attended Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio. She completed an IBM Key Punch course in 1965, then started her career with Chrysler Corporation. Sandra gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and she named her Tori. She moved to Detroit, Michigan where she raised her daughter. Sandra always had her faith in God. She was baptized in Jesus’ name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. In 1985, she joined Word of Faith Christian Center (a bible teaching church). She quickly completed her membership classes and began serving in several departments around the church. Sandra graduated from the Laymen’s School and served in the ministry of helps. She always ministered to people with the Word of God and shared her faith with her family and friends. She continued to share her bible based wisdom with everyone she met. Her favorite saying was “It’s All Good”. Sandra went from labor to reward on Friday, April 28, 2023. She leaves to celebrate her life: her daughter, Tori. Two aunts, Mae Lewis and Narsis Parker. Best Friends, Jacqueline and Marilyn. Cousins, Phyllis, Sandra Jean, Deborah and Patricia. Eric & Joyce, Eileen, Crystal, Sylvia and Heather. God-children, Terrilyn, Marcus, Kimberly, Ajene and Charity. Many cousins and friends who loved her greatly.
