Shannon Marquand passed away on July 15, 2020, peacefully in the company of her loved ones. She was born on October 17, 1942, in Portland, Oregon, and was the eldest of five siblings. She was the beloved wife of Keith, married 50 years; mother to Sean & Abby, and Angelique & Jon; and grandmother to Olivia, Paloma, Vivienne, Henry, and Gloria. She leaves behind her beloved siblings, Bill and Jennifer. Shannon spent her early career as a professional singer, touring the country with the Main Street Singers vocal group. It was during this time that she met and married Keith. The two settled in Phoenix to raise their children and build their life, spending the summers of their retirement years in Wisconsin. Shannon was so many things to so many people-- an art teacher, a Sunday school teacher, a volunteer, a mentor, an active member of her church, a grandmother, a mother, a sister, a friend and confidant. She touched lives with her angelic voice and as an artist who approached life creatively, finding a way to bring beauty and her own personal touch to even the smallest things. She was wildly active but took time to slow down, to spend time with the people she loved, to listen and to help others. Shannon found joy in small moments and she brought joy to the people lucky enough to spend time with her. She will be greatly missed.
