Jan....we will always remember Steve's quick laughter! Our children have always remarked that you were such an enjoyable couple and understood why it was so easy for us to bridge distance and time in the all too few times we could get together. Just as time was opening up for us all to have time to travel and see each other, he departed too early. Jan, as we move forward Steve will be missed but nevertheless he'll be forever remembered in a most special way.

We know there is nothing we can say that will really be right.  We said much of what we feel in an earlier email.  So let us just say when we think of Steve all we will need to do is close our eyes, see his smile and hear his laugh.  A room was always brighter when he was there. Steve was special to us and will be missed. Even though we are far away, you are with us this Thanksgiving weekend in warm thoughts and prayers.  God Bless all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! Even though I never had the chance to meet Steve, I felt like I knew him through our conversations and I know he was a great man because he had a great wife!
