Susan was always upbeat and positive. It was a joy to work with her. I worked with her back when Mesa Lutheran then called Banner Mesa was open.  She always had a smile, no matter what. I knew Susan for many years working in the Radiology department at Mesa Lutheran/Banner Mesa. She was an extraordinary patient advocate and a very smart and talented nurse.  She was a very loving, unselfish person. She was always doing things for someone else, whether it was a family member, a patient, or a co-worker. I remember after hurricane Katrina, Susan volunteered to go to Louisiana to help the victims in one of the hospitals there.  She endured very difficult living and working conditions there, but came back saying that it was one of the best things she had ever done, and that it changed her life. Through her service to others, she changed all of our lives. I would not be surprised if she is still watching out for us from the other side. May God bless those left behind with peace and comfort.

I worked with Susan at Banner Mesa. She always had something nice to say. Once a group of us went to Rocky Point and we had agreed to meet up for lunch at a certain time. Well Susan never showed up, and we were all referring to her as lost as we frantically searched for her.  This went on for about an hour when finally someone spotted her down on the beach sitting on a colorful blanket with a jewelry vendor laughing and looking through all the necklaces and rings! She excitedly pointed out her new friend and told us she was not lost at all she was having fun....I hope these kinds of stories and memories will help bring you comfort. I'm sorry for your loss.

Jon and I have been blessed to call Susan our coworker, neighbor(for a while) and friend. Our thoughts and prayers today are with her daughter Kaylee and her grandchildren. Susan was a devoted Mother and Grandmother! Our last conversation was all about them. Farewell my friend you will be missed but I take great comfort knowing there is no more PAIN for you.

I am sorry to hear of Susan's death. We had worked at Banner Mesa Medical Center for many years.I know she was a hard worker.Hoping her family will have comfort in their good memories.

I think of Susan with a smile. She was the most enthusiastic foodie I have ever known. The pleasure she expressed in restaurants, clapping her hands, smiling her smile in anticipation of the food was so cute and so Susan. She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was very generous. She always brought "loot" home to her family even from weekend getaways. I once admired her purse and she gave it to me. I believe her loved ones who went before her greeted her when she passed. I'm sorry she is no longer with us and hope many happy memories are a comfort to the family.

I worked with Susan for many years and unfortunately in recent years spent alot of time with her as one of her Rt's in the hospital. I am saddened by her passing. Susan was a fighter and will be missed by many of us that helped treat her when she was in the hospital. Recently another therapist and I were working at another hospital and went to see Susan,Her smile and greeting when she saw us made our day. Via con dio's amiga.

Susan was a great friend. Distance did not matter. In your lifetime you only have a  handful of true friends. 
SUSAN was one of them .She was so full of life,and we had so much fun together.
We had not talked  in along time.Then lucky for me
she contacted me . It was a time, I really needed her comforting words.
 I guess you call it a gift.Knowing she is gone leaves such an emptiness.Her friendship cannot be duplicated.
She was so close to her family,and loved them so much.
It was another bond we had understanding that love.
