Suzanne Caudill Strobaugh died in Mesa on August 17, 2025. Sue was born on July 1, 1938 in Amarillo, Texas to Lewis and Isabelle Caudill. She was preceded in death by both her parents and sons Bob and Jim Shea. She is survived by her daughter Sheila Collins and granddaughter Amy Collins along with “inherited” five children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Suzanne spent her working years as a caseworker for the American Red Cross in Munich, Germany and Arizona providing service to the Armed Forces and to Disaster Services as a supervisor and National Instructor. She loved flowers, plants and trees and their family home showed this talent. Suzanne read, painted, sewed, and traveled extensively all over the world with her husband Donald Strobaugh, whom she married in their later years. They were both Past Presidents of the Don’s of Arizona and were active with the club starting in 1983. Suzanne called herself “an enigmatic redhead” and would like you to toast the moon on some starry night as she is surely there.
