Sylvia Ann Harris Binford

She was born August 19, 1974 in Phoenix, AZ, she lived in Tolleson, AZ. Sylvia was a committed Hospice care giver for fifteen years and received numerous awards for her dedicated service and compassion shown to families. She was a part of Affinity Hospice located in Phoenix, AZ. Sylvia loved a *good yard sale* or any sale for that matter. She always helped others and thought about the well being of the less fortunate. Sylvia loved God and was extremely prayerful, she prayed for everyone even strangers. Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her family and going to Baseball games. She was a member of Champions for Christ Ministry where she preached her first sermon.

Survivors include her husband De Andre Binford three children: Sharlisa Harris, Bishop Jones and Shundrea Binford. Her father and mother James and Shirley Wesson, Siblings: Sheila Harris, Trisha Johnson and Carla Cravin and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Sylvia was preceded in death by her Great Grandmother Henrietta Edmund. Grandmother and Grandfather Archie and Oretha Cravin, Uncles Isaiah Cravin, and Jeffery Cravin.

Visitation for Mrs. Binford will be Friday, April 20, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Melcher Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 am at Champions for Christ Ministries Church, 3440 W. Lewis Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
