Virginia Lee McGuire, age 92, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013, in Emeritus at Baywood Assisted Living Center in Mesa. She was born August 21, 1921, the daughter of Chester and Virginia Strawbridge Coshow. Being from a family of six children, Virginia was raised to have a strong focus on family. She carried this dedication to family throughout her life and worked hard to instill the same dedication in her own children and grandchildren. Her family will always carry this part of her in their hearts. She had a wonderful, contagious sense of humor that would light up the room as it spread to those around her. She also had a lifelong love of reading. Virginia was an expert seamstress who loved to sew in her spare time. Her skills in the kitchen were second to none and will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of enjoying her home-style cooking. Virginia leaves behind three brothers, David Coshow and his wife Jane, Charles A. Coshow, and Douglas E. Coshow and his wife Jean, two grandchildren, John Grbcich and his wife Anissa, and Steven Burcke and his wife Carol, four great grandchildren, Brodie Grbcich, Holden Larabee, Austin Parslow, and Dane Larabee, and a brother-in law, Richard Curran. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Betty Burcke, a son Jack Steven Grbcich, and two sisters Doris E. North and Ann B. Curran. There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, Mesa, AZ.
