Vivian Lease Bauer 83, Longtime resident of Friendship Village, Leisure World, and Safford, Az., died April 14 in Tempe. She was the loving widow of Philip H Bauer who died in 2004 and more recent companion of Dave Seaman of Tempe.
Vivian Bauer was born 26 Sept. 1928 in Terre Haute, Ill. And grew up in Fort Madison, IA. She graduated in 1949 from Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport IA. where she met her husband of 54 years. Vivian moved to Salt Lake City in 1951 and then to Safford, Az. in 1965. She leaves 3 surviving children: Marty Hood of Centreville, Va. , Marilyn Bauer of Mesa, and Linda Farr of Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Bauer in 2009. Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Mesa, Az on 28 April at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: King of Glory Lutheran Church- Music Dept, 2085 E.
