Donald Colbert Pinson, age 79, passed away on May 29, 2021 in Kaufman, Texas. He was born on July 31, 1941 in rural Texas to his parents, Oscar and Evelyn Pinson. Donald was raised in Dallas, Texas where he graduated from W.W. Samuel High School in 1960. He built a career as a butcher at Safeway spanning over 18 years, and was also self-employed.
In his spare time, Donald was happiest around antique cars and trucks, breaking and training horses, raising cows and working out in his shop, hunting and fishing, and enjoying sports of all kinds.
His family and friends will always remember him as a fun loving man who loved to travel and have a good time, and someone who was an outstanding athlete.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Evelyn Pinson; Christopher Pinson, and Myra Bess Woods. He is survived by Jamie Pinson; sister, Jan Huffstutler; niece, Jan Weaver; nieces, Gayle and Yolie Weaver and sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Noel Wardrope.
