

Federico H. Cisneros passed away on January 19, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on March 9, 1924 in Mexico to Martin R. and Sofia Cisneros. He was raised in Mexico until moving with his family to Texas. He married Guadalupe M. Cisneros in 1944 and the couple had ten wonderful children. He was a musician and taught in the D.I.S.D. school district for more than 22 years as a Music Teacher. In his spare time Federico enjoyed writing music, playing guitar, violin, piano, trumpet and traveling. His family and friends will always remember him as a dedicated father and husband who always encouraged his children to pursue their education as well as their love and faith to God and the Virgin Mary. He is preceded in death by his son Martin Cisneros; his grandson Martin M. Cisneros; Great-Grandson Christopher Cisneros; parents Martin and Sofia Cisneros; brother Ignacio; and sisters Antonia and Maria. Federico is survived by his wife Guadalupe Cisneros; his sons Reynaldo, Federico, Daniel, Rafael, and J. Eduardo; his daughters Isidra, Emigdia, Sofia, Lupita, and Cecilia; and 30 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home on Sunday, January 22, 2017 between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM with a rosary service at 2:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the morning of Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church with a burial to follow at 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
