Passed away on April 13, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on September 5, 1962 to Paul and Diane Hardin, in Dallas, Texas. Genie had a Bachelor’s degree and worked as a paralegal most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and debate. Genie was very passionate. She was always an advocate for the weak, and a voice for those who had none. She volunteered at Texas Tennent’s Association for 10 years. Genie married Jeffery Wilhite in 2006 and together extended their family. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery; daughters, Audrey Brosz, Misty Wilhite-Stringer, and Megan Whilhite. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Barbec’s 8949 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218 at 6:30 pm.
