Jesse A. Ortiz

Jesse A. Ortiz, Jr., 65 was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on February 27, 2015 with his loving family at his bedside. Jesse was born on September 2, 1949 and resided in Dallas along with his beloved wife Ophelia T. Ortiz for over 46 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Ms. Antonia Ybarra-Ortiz , father Jesus Antonio Ortiz and sister Lucia Idalia Beltran. Survivors include sister Rosemary Mariscal & husband Gabriel, brother Juan Ortiz & wife Helen and sister Candace Ybarra - Patterson & husband Steve. Jesse touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way till the end. Jesse began a long career in the airline industry for more than 33 years until his retirement. He devoted much of his time and energy as a provider, caregiver and a father figure to many people. He will always be remembered by his red truck, sleek appearance and name giver that put a smile on so many peoples face. Along with his many qualities Jesse was a loving caring husband and father, who will be dearly missed. His ultimate happiness was countless time spent with his wife Ophie; his sons Jesse Anthony Ortiz, III & wife Debra and Alexander Ortiz; only daughter Ann Marie Mota & husband Phillip; grandchildren Alexandra Nicole Ortiz & husband Victor, Alexander Ortiz, Jr., Cecilia Ann Mena & husband Raul, Angela Mercedes Ortiz, Phillip Angel Mota and Chelsy Renee Ortiz; along with great-grandchildren Nevaeh Melody Castilleja, Azalia Bella Catilleja, Zoey Raine Mena and soon to arrive Baby Mena. The family gives many friends and family who cared for Jesse their greatest gratitude.
