Joe Robles was born on November 27, 1935 in Rice, Texas, to Antonio Hernandez Robles & Victoria Cruz. Joe was the first born child, of two sons, who grew up in Corsicana & Ennis. His grandparents adored and spoiled him. He attended Waxahachie High School, and was one of Waxahachie’s best middle line backer football players! Soon after high school, he proudly served four years in the United States Navy before joining the United States Marine Reserves.
In order to provide for his family, Joe worked hard as a truck driver for years. He retired at the age of 66. After retirement, Joe enjoyed being at home. Joe was a private, quiet man, but he was always willing to help others. He was always there when you needed him, was the protector of the family, and his brother’s best friend.
On August 2, 2014, Joe Robles was called Home to meet his maker. He was greeted in Heaven by his parents Antonio & Victoria Robles; his grandparents Crispin & Marcela Robles; and many aunts and uncles.
His life will continue to be remembered and celebrated by his family: his son, Tony Joe Robles; his daughter, Melisa Roark; two grandchildren; his brother, David C. Robles, Sr. and his wife Grace; and many more nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
