Judy Kay Rodrick, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born January 25, 1955 in Terrell, Texas to Cecil and Geraldine Malone. Judy was raised in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Mesquite ISD. She married Robert John Rodrick in 1975 and the couple had 3 children. She was an Air force spouse for over 24 years where she kept her household together while her husband was deployed for various military duties. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed sewing and embroidery, spur of the moment family trips, bowling, fishing, event planning, baking, giving gifts, volunteering in her community, girls nights out, card games and chess, pampering herself and others, collecting knick-knacks and most of all, time with her grandbabies. Her family and friends will always remember her as a "mommas girl", protective, generous, loving, adventurous, creative, a social butterfly, a family woman, always making jokes, compassionate, loyal, a hardworking, non-judgmental person.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Cecil and Geraldine Malone. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Robert Rodrick; children, Angela Almanza, Alicia Salido and husband, Eli and Robert Rodrick, Jr. and wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Deanna Almanza, Isabella and Anthony Salido, Noah Rodrick and Leah and James Hayward; great-grandchild, Alaina Hatim; sisters, Patricia Malone, Dorothy Baker and husband, Larry, Diane Spangler and husband, Tim, Mary Sanchez and Kristi Hilbert; numerous other family members and friends that will cherish her memory forever.
