Mikal "Mike" Wayne McDowell

Mikal "Mike" Wayne McDowell, age 74, of Seagoville, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was born July 2, 1947 In Dallas, Texas to Alvin and Dorothy McDowell. Mikal was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1965. He married Beverly Graeser in 1968 and the couple had 2 children. He worked at the United States Postal Service Main Office in Dallas for more than 42 years. In his spare time Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends who will always remember him as a kind, loving, funny, hardworking, loyal man. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Dorothy McDowell and sister, Pamela Risley. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly McDowell; son, Mikal, Jr. McDowell and wife, Jamie and Mark McDowell and wife, Donna; five grandsons, Christian, Wyatt, Levi, Sean and Maddox McDowell; brother, Ron McDowell, Sr; numerous nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends. A visitation for Mike will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
