My heart weighs heavy for the Bustamante family right now. I only knew Paul for a few years, but in the time I got to know him I saw how much love he had for his family. I saw how far he was willing to go to make the people he held very dear to his heart know how much they all ment to him. I saw the lenghts he would go just to put a smile on Cory, Nikki's, and Joey's faces when they were down on their luck. But above all i saw how much he cherished his time spent with Nova and the love they both had for one another. Or how he would take time to call and talk to his parents Mary Helen and Pablo Bustamante and even his sister Amber. Paul was a good man with a good heart and it saddens me to know we all had to say our Goodbyes to a father, brother, son, grandfather, best friend and so much more to each of us. To Paul Rest Easy and watch over everyone in their time of grief and sorrow, and to the family and friends in this time of need may God heal your broken hearts

Paul was a good friend and the best man for Kenny and my wedding. I have lots of great memories of Paul my brother Bobby, Kenny, and several other friends. May God give all his family the strength and peace that is needed with the loss of a son, husband, father, brother,grandfather, friend. May you rest in peace my friend.You will be greatly missed.

Paul was a good friend and a great guy. He had an awesome sense of humor and would make you laugh. I had many good times with him and will always cherish them. Like Paul said ( I did it my way !!! ). When adults say, "Teenagers think they are invincible," with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die. Like all energy, we can only change shapes and sizes and manifestations. They forget that when they get old. They get scared of losing and failing. But that part of us greater than the sum of our parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail.
My daddy KNEW this and he lived by it. He lived his life to the fullest, thriving in experience, emotion, and moment. My dad never forgot that. He was so unlike others. He knew he was invincible. He knows he still is.
