Alfaye "Faye" Tassin Eddlestone

Alfaye “Faye” Tassin Eddlestone passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 9:25 am. Beloved wife of the late Harry Eddlestone. Loving mother of the late Samantha Eddlestone Gardner. Daughter of the late Eva Rachael Tassin and Edward Tassin. Sister of Gail Tassin, Barry Tassin (Carla) and the late Steven Tassin. Also survived by a niece, Angie Bordelon, who was more like a daughter; an adopted niece, Laurie Aicklen; a niece, Jamie Calton (Eric); a nephew, Jeffery Tassin; a great nephew, Joshua Bordelon; two great nieces, Kyla Zimmerman and Layla Calton; a great-great nephew, “Baby Josh” and her cats. Faye was born in Bordelonville and lived in Metairie most of her life. She loved to play bingo, go to the casinos and was addicted to the shopping network, QVC. To know her was to love her, and she will be missed terribly by Angie.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
