Allen J. Webre, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Son of the late Adolph Webre and Zita Gaudet Webre. Brother of Yvonne W. Ferrand, Yolande W. Smith, Leroy J. Webre and the late Emily W. Huguet and Velma L. Webre. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tricia Cross for all her wonderful care and support. A native of Convent, LA and a resident of New Orleans and Metairie for the past 65 years. Retired from the Illinois Central Railroad and the Orleans Parish School Board.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church 3601 Transcontinental, Metairie on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment in Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers Masses to St. Ann’s Church preferred.
