Anthony Louis Peppo Sr.

Anthony Louis Peppo, Sr. passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Rita Mae Plaisance Peppo. Father of Perry Peppo (Sherri). Grandfather of Michael Sison, Zachary Peppo, Chas Mowen III, Cherie Mowen and Chanon McGhee. Brother of John, Joe and Bert Peppo, Doddie Van Court, Irene George, Hazel Coates, Fern Savoie and Beatrice Reine. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beatrice Peppo, his children, Anthony Peppo, Jr. and Rita Mowen (Charlie), and his siblings, Clinton and Malcom Peppo and Hyacinth Holloway.

A native of Gulfport, MS and a resident of Jefferson, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2605 River Rd., New Orleans, LA 70121 in memory of Anthony’s late wife.
