Ariel Alejandro Briceno

Ariel Alejandro Briceno was lifted into God’s arms on Saturday, May 12, 2012 after a long battle with leukemia. Ariel was 20 years old. He was a graduate of Brother Martin High School Class of 2009 and while there, he played on the football and rugby teams. He is survived by his mother, Lilian Trejo; his stepfather, Elpidio Uria; his father, Ramon Briceno; four brothers: Andres, Aiden, Kevin, Leo and Ramon and a sister, Tiffany. He will also be missed by his grandmother, Cleotilde Rodriguez; his grandfather, Alfredo Trejo; his loving girlfriend, Alyssa Lacour and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 12:00 pm at St. Edward the Confessor Church, corner of West Metairie Avenue and Transcontinental Drive in Metairie. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
