Betty Eunice Griffin Delaney Baptiste passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at age 88. Beloved wife of (belated) Leon Joseph Delaney Sr. and Ronald Baptiste Sr., daughter of Vernon Sr. and Angelina Griffin. Loving mother of Denise Delaney Cousin (Ronald Sr.), Leon Joseph Delaney Jr. (Katrina), Charmaine Marie Delaney and Troy Christopher Delaney. Stepmother to Ronald Baptiste Jr, Michael Baptiste and Kirk Baptiste. Grandmother to Charlotte Cousin, Ashley Cousin Landor, Ronald Joseph Cousin Jr., Leon Joseph Delaney III and Brandon Jerome Delaney. Great grandmother to Jourdan, Justin, Aylani, Cahlia, Dankiea Jr., Jaxx, Aaliyah and Rojo. Great-great-grandmother to Aiden, Kameron, Jaysen, Karmen and Kensley. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a lifetime homemaker and vocalist at Marie Goretti Catholic Church, who loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed the casino slots and listening to Whitney Houston. Her smile will surely be missed by everyone who knew her….love you forever Mama.
