Betty Ramirez, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Emile F. Ramirez, Jr. for 49 years. Mother of Michael Ramirez (Gayle) and Melody McCloskey (Kean). Grandmother of Shannon Ramirez (Shane Jackson), Tyler Ramirez, Krystle Thompson (Aaron) and Kourtney McCloskey (fiancé, Zac Zimmerman). Great-grandmother of Samantha Jackson and Emma Claire Thompson. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
