Bonnie Jane McRae

Bonnie Jane McRae born 9/18/46 entered into heaven peacefully on Wednesday morning 10/6/2010 after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved daughter of the late Oddis and Anita McRae, loving mother of Dennis Jr., Dawn and David Dufour, the much loved sister of Robert (Bobby) McRae (Patti) and Linda Crane (Buz). Also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. A special thanks to her care givers Dianna Johnson, Joscelynn Brooks, Kanitta Lewis and Rolitta Small who tenderly took care of her during the past year. Bonnie graduated from Riverdale High School in 1964. She was originally from Harahan and lived in River Ridge, LA for the past year. She was a wonderful, loving, gentle and kind woman who will be greatly missed by all. A Special thanks to the staff of Davita Dialysis in Metairie and Covington, Dr. Robert McCord and Dr. Ken Roy for their outstanding care of her as a patient. She was a member of Bread of Life Church in St. Rose, LA and greatly treasured the worship and loving people at the services she was able to attend. The Staff of Crane & Templet, family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 9th at 10AM. The memorial service will be held in the chapel for 12:00pm with internment immediately following at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery.
