Carolyn “Jackie” Waller, age 87, went home to her Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Jackie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert “Bob” Waller. She is survived by her daughters Suzzan Calvo (Henry), Deborah Tompkins (Greg) grandchildren Patrick (Monica) and Christopher Calvo (Darcy) and great grandchildren James, Leila, Alex and Ben.
Jackie was a longtime resident of Metairie. She had a passion for painting and square dancing and was a true New Orleanian. She would never miss a parade or pass up a bowl of gumbo. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of loving her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 9:00am and continue until Service time. Interment will immediately follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
