Catherine Kramer Folse

Catherine Kramer Folse, 93, of New Orleans passed away on Friday, March 10th, 2017 at her residence in Houston, TX. Catherine was born in New Orleans, LA on May 19th, 1923 to Christine and John Kramer. Beloved wife of the late Charles Raymond Folse. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Christine Kramer. Sister of the late Roy, John, Harold, George, Kenneth, and Edward, and sister-in-law of the late Amelia. Catherine is survived by her grandson and caregiver, Stephen Wagner; great-grandson and his fiancé, Kaleb Boudreaux and Rachel Frantz; granddaughter, Ashley Wagner Shepard; and daughter, Stephanie Spahn. Catherine is also survived by a nephew, Roy Kramer, Jr., and many great nephews and nieces. Catherine was a proud New Orleanian who enjoyed cooking, dancing, and Mardi Gras. She lived life to the fullest and had a knack for striking up conversations with anyone who would listen. Affectionately known as “Scats” to many, Catherine will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of meeting her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning, March 18th at 11:00 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Boulevard in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:30.
