Cecile D. Camus

Cecile Camus, 89, died January 8, 2014 in Athens, GA. A native of New Orleans, she was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Katie Dickinson, siblings, Buddy Dickinson, Barbara Stevens and Lucille Franklin, and her beloved husband, Alvin Camus Sr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Melinda Camus Jr., two grandchildren, Caroline and Caleb, and her niece Cathy Bass. Although robbed of the memories of a full life, they will live on in the loved ones that remain.

Relatives and friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm, where friends may call after 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 3900 N. Causeway Blvd, Suite 1200, Metairie, LA 70002
