Claire Hartwell Pattison

Claire Elizabeth Hartwell Pattison entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 21, 1944 to Dr. Ralph and Sadie Blouin “Inky” Hartwell. At the age of 3, her family moved to Metairie where she lived until retiring. Then she and her husband moved to Gonzales, LA where she lived for the past two years. She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated from East Jefferson High School. Mrs. Pattison was an administrative assistant at Ecole Classique Preschool and a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen. She was also a member of the Perpetual Adoration group at Our Lady of Divine Providence.

Beloved wife of Gerald Pattison for 48 years. Mother of Deborah Pattison, Daniel Pattison (Paige) and Denise Roos (Barry). Grandmother of Ryan and Chad Pattison and Brandon and Bryce Roos. Sister of Ralph M. Hartwell and the late Madeline H. Avocato.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Casual attire is requested, coat and tie are not required.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631 or Notre Dame Hospice, 2832 Burdette Street, New Orleans, LA 70125 are preferred.
