Cynthia Pauline (Lambert) Marsters

Mrs. Marsters was born on May 11, 1946, in New Orleans, LA, to parents William P. Lambert and Esther D. Lambert. She was baptized and confirmed at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of John McDonogh Senior High School, New Orleans, LA. After working several years in the Microbiology Department at LSU Medical School, Mrs. Marsters took a position as an Administrative Assistant at Monsanto Corporation in Luling. She retired from Monsanto in 1996, moved to Ponchatoula, and enjoyed her part-time employment with Lancome. Mrs. Marsters was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hammond, LA. After moving to Metairie, LA in the summer of 2022, she received pastoral care from Faith Lutheran Church in Harahan, LA.

She is survived by her children, Douglas J. Marsters and his spouse, Bambi C. Marsters, Tami L. Marsters and her spouse Steven Keller, her grandchildren Lola E. Hansen, Matthew D. Marsters, and Liam T. Marsters. She also leaves behind her sister, Patricia L. Robbins, brother-in-law Jeffery P. Robbins and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Douglas L. Marsters, infant son Troy D. Marsters, her parents William P. Lambert and Esther D. Lambert, her brothers Larry R. Lambert, Terry P. Lambert, and sister Linda L. Mizell.

Family and friends will be received at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 9:00 AM until memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Harahan, LA.
