Cynthia Cecile Stokes

Cynthia Nosacka Stokes passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the age of 59 holding the hands of her husband and daughter. She was a resident of Metairie and one of the founders of Fleur De Ladies. She enjoyed dancing, music, her friends, and family. Cynthia was the beloved wife of 25 years to Shawn Dominic Stokes; loving mother of Patricia Catherine Nosacka (Cesar Tanchez), and Grammy to Sophia and Aria, who adored her. She is survived by her Mother, Gloria Dell Nosacka, and siblings, Wayne A. Nosacka, Susan Robert (Keith), Catherine N. Gaudet (M. H.), Becky N. Herzog, and Douglas P. Nosacka (JoAnn). She is preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Nosacka Jr., and brother, Lance R. Nosacka. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32: "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ" A memorial service will be held Friday January 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Vineyard Church New Orleans, 4340 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, LA 70065.
