Daniel Wesley Bornholdt, age 23, born July 1, 1988 passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. May his big heart, loving and whimsical ways, engaging mind and sense of humor shine as a beacon of hope for other travelers who have lost their way...
Beloved son of Mike Lee Bornholdt and Mary Hebert Bornholdt. Brother of Eric Joseph Bornholdt. Grandson of Susan Bornholdt Jorqensen, and Eleanor Hebert and the late Joseph Henry Bornholdt and Richard Joseph Hebert. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless others who touched his life and Dan called "friend". Daniel played as a defensive tackle at both East St. John and Grace King High Schools, where he also wrestled and was selected to the all-District Football Team. Daniel graduated from Grace King in 2006.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until time of service. Interment in St. Louis #3 Cemetery.
