Debra Ann Hensarling Hebert

Debra Ann Hensarling Hebert of Metairie, LA died on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the age of 61. She was born on January 4, 1952 in Meridian, MS to Howard C. Hensarling and Bettye Jean Gunn Hensarling. Beloved wife of Curtis J. “C.J.” Hebert, Jr. for 36 years. Mother of Kimberly Hensarling Keeler (Pat), Curtis Sean Hebert and Nathan Eric Hebert (Stacey). Grandmother of Cameron Billiot, Reagan Hebert and Asa Hebert, all of Metairie, LA. Loving sister and best friend of Lynn Hensarling Templeton (Dave); daughter-in-law of Curtis J. Hebert, Sr. of Houma, LA and sister-in-law, Lynn Serrano. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and mother-in-law, Anna Mae Hebert. She will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie graduated from Petal High School in Petal, MS, where she was named Betty Crocker Homemaker of the Year. She was an avid cook, gardener, and collector of santas and frogs. The family would like to thank all the special and caring people at Hospice Associates of Metairie for all of their help and compassion, especially Denise, Rene, Bonnie, Tyra, Joy, and Lisa.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association, 2325 Severn Avenue, Suite 8, Metairie, LA are preferred.
