Declan Jude Green

Against the odds Declan Jude Green entered the world at Touro Hospital in late July of 2019. He became a child of God and received the Sacrament of Confirmation as well on The Feast of The Transfiguration on August 6, 2019 at NICU at Children's Hospital in New Orleans, where he received great love and care from his doctors, nurses and staff. Declan was at his Metairie home on Tuesday morning, December 7, 2021 having a normal family morning routine when he was suddenly called back home to The Father. Declan loved receiving hugs and snugging, especially from his parents, Shaun and Blaire Green, his older brother Kristian (12), his older sister Daphne (4) and all of his grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, caregivers, and church family and loved responding back with a big smile and gleam of affection in his eyes. He was the best at giving and receiving love. Visitation will be held at St. Clement of Rome Church in Metairie, LA at 10am on Friday, December 10, 2021 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am.
