Denise Ann Duplissey Shannon passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, July 23, 2017. She was 60 years old. Loving mother of Steven M. Shannon (Amanda Jenkins) and Connie M. Shannon (Chad Hancock). Grandmother of Devin J. Shannon, Madison T. Shannon, Charlee K. Shannon, and Avery E. Shannon. Sister of William A. Duplissey III (Marlene). Daughter of William Avery Duplissey Jr. and the late Joanette Caserta Duplissey. Denise was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Metairie, and was a recent resident of Hammond. She graduated from Grace King High School and worked at Allan Berger and Associates for many years. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, and spending time with family. Denise will be dearly missed by many.
