Diane Patricia Even Sifert died at her home surrounded by her family on January 15, 2021. She was 77. Mrs. Sifert was born on October 12, 1943 in New Orleans to her late parents Shirley Wild Even and Andrew F. Even and was a 1961 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Diane is survived by loving husband of 57 years, William B. Sifert, Jr, her children Denise Deno (David), Dawn Scurria (Sal), and William Sifert (Brooke). Her pride and joy in life were her five grandchildren: Alyssa Scurria, Rachel Scurria, Danielle Deno, Samantha Scurria and Kaden Sifert.

Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Even. She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Marion Even and Rosanna Giacona Shepherd and her brother-in-law, Jay Giacona. Diane also leaves behind a close cousin and friend Antoinette Nuccio Colburn as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the compassionate team from Notre Dame Hospice as well as her loving longtime caregivers: Tara, Arleen, Kay, Barbara, Tas and Winnie. Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of life for Diane will be held at a later date.
